Want to volunteer with SORBA Tri-Cities? Each year we host several social and fundraising events, host group rides and volunteer workdays. We're always looking for new volunteers, so join the fun! Our volunteer software comes with a mobile app where you can pre-register for volunteer events, check-in the day of or using location services on the app, sign your waiver and more!

Your volunteer time is worth something! Not only do we use volunteer hours for advocacy efforts for more trails, but you can cash in on your hours as well. We have partnered with several businesses around the region to offer discounts and incentives for your stewardship time.

Receive $25 credit for every registered hour building/maintaining local trails

- $50 off any bike $500 – $999
- $150 off any bike $1,000 – $2,499
- $500 off any bike $2,500 +

Discounts on one specific item a month
​
Maximum credit applied to a single bike purchase, per tier discount level. Dig Dollars expire October 1 of each year. Dig Dollars can only be applied to be eligible bikes. Bikes purchased with Dig Dollars can not be sold for one calendar year from purchase date. Dig Dollars are only redeemable at Trek Bicycle Store Johnson City, not redeemable for cash
The Bike Shop of JC
For every 5 hours volunteered building/maintaining trails at SORBA Tri-Cities workdays, volunteers will earn 5% off purchases at The Bike Shop of JC up to 25% off.

- 5 hrs – 5% off
- 10 hrs – 10% off
- 15 hrs – 15% off
- 20 hrs – 20% off
- 25 hrs – 25% off

Volunteers can choose what level they want to cash in for one purchase store wide. Volunteers who work more than 25 hrs can earn multiple purchases, 50 hrs worked – 2, 25% purchases etc. Discounts earned cannot be combined with on going sales. Bike purchases over $3000 will have a cap of 15% off.
This program will run Sept – August, hours accumulated will start over every September. All discounts earned are required to be used during that cycle.
